why do i dislike going to high 

school reunions?

i went to my 5th and 10th and

maybe one other one before i went to the 

3oth and after that one i vowed never again.

i have a hard time remembering the names of my recent 

friends, 

so there is no way i can remember the names of people i hardly knew or hardly knew

me from high school. 

and for some reason, the good friends i had in high school never

show up to the reunions.

i'm not living in the same town and even when i did,

i never hung around anyone from school.

i liked hs when i was in 9th-12th grade, but

i am way past that now and

i just don't get all excited about the thought of another

reunion....old football stories, old party stories, just plain old stories.

and no one looks like they did in school.

everyone is unrecognizable.and why do people get mad when you 

tell them no, hell no i am not going to the reunion.

don't get me wrong, i like to catch up with old acquaintances,

 isn't that what facebook was created for?? or the phone, or the internet,

or going to lunch??

i hope i don't sound too bitchy,

especially since i was once hs royalty

but even queen's have their limit

on reminiscing on the past.
